“I wanted to be sure when I put something out there, especially as a full album, I knew I wanted to impress people. I wanted to make sure that I found my sound and I didn't want to, for lack of better words, half-ass anything,” he says. I've been kind of low key about making music and just getting out there because I wanted to get to the point where I was comfortable with everything I was doing. “It was something I've been wanting to do for a long time.
